Disney keeps the entertainment going! Wasn’t Iron Man 3 their most recent, biggest hit? Guess that was simply motivation to keep the work moving into the future. As always, though, I’m excited to see what these two “untitled” Marvel movies will be. Great job, Disney… for the suspense! I wonder what my friend at The Walt Disney Company (Burbank) has to say about this?
After recently slotting eight untitled toons through 2018, Disney is laying claim to a few prime release dates in 2014, including Christmas Day for its musical adaptation “Into the Woods.”
The Mouse House also added two untitled Marvel features for May 2016 and 2017, respectively.
Leading up to next year’s Christmas, the Mouse has bumped up George Clooney sci-fi pic “Tomorrowland” to Dec. 12 in wide release, with “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” now slated to bow Oct. 10, 2014.
Also in 2014, Disney Animation will release a sequel to “Planes,” called “Fire and Rescue,” on July 18, followed a month later by DreamWorks’ Lasse Hallstrom-directed “The Hundred-Foot Journey.” The studio’s “Muppets” sequel, which is dated for March 21, is now titled “Muppets Most Wanted.”
